Role Description The Team Captain is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Toledo, OH, responsible for supporting daily store operations and driving an engaging fan experience. This role assists in supervising team members on the sales floor, helping with scheduling, task delegation, and ensuring company policies and visual standards are followed. The Team Captain helps greet and assist customers, recommends products, and promotes current merchandise and team gear to build sales and loyalty. Day-to-day responsibilities include helping maintain store cleanliness, managing inventory processes such as restocking and merchandising, and supporting opening and closing procedures as assigned. The role also contributes to training new team members, reinforcing a positive, inclusive culture, and collaborating with store leadership to achieve sales targets and performance goals. Qualifications Retail operations and customer service skills, including assisting customers, handling transactions, and maintaining a welcoming store environment. Team leadership and collaboration skills, such as guiding associates, delegating tasks, and supporting training and development. Organization and merchandising abilities, including restocking, inventory support, and maintaining visual standards. Communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers, peers, and leadership in a professional and respectful manner. Ability to work a flexible full-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed for retail operations. Interest in sports, local teams, and fan culture, with enthusiasm for promoting Rally House products and experiences. Basic math and computer skills to support point-of-sale use and routine store reporting.
