Quality Inspector

Thanks for taking the time to submit your resume to CTSi. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team. The Quality Inspector will play a crucial role in ensuring adherence to quality standards and procedures throughout our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in quality inspection, with a strong understanding of ISO9001/2015 and AS9100D standards. Proficiency in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Inspection Arm/Scanner is highly desirable. Responsibilities: Perform thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to verify conformance with specifications and quality standards. Utilize measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauging fixtures to conduct accurate measurements. Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Inspection Arm/Scanner to inspect complex parts and assemblies. Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, abnormalities, or non-conformities in products or materials. Document inspection results and maintain accurate records, including detailed reports and data analysis. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Participate in root cause analysis investigations to determine causes of quality issues and help implement preventive measures. Ensure compliance with ISO9001/2015 and AS9100D standards, contributing to the quality management system. Communicate effectively with production personnel, engineers, and stakeholders to address quality concerns and provide guidance. Stay updated on industry best practices, inspection techniques, and emerging standards. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and Inspection Arm/Scanner is preferred. Strong knowledge of ISO9001/2015 and AS9100D standards. Familiarity with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and gauging fixtures. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Proficiency in computer software for data entry, analysis, and reporting. Ability to qualify for a government clearance if required.
