Schedule/Hours:

• Days, 5x8 hour shifts
• 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered medical-surgical oncology care using evidence-based nursing processes.
• Employ critical thinking to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate individual care plans for oncology patients.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions, modifying care plans as needed and escalating concerns appropriately.
• Serve as an engaged practitioner within the Professional Nursing Organization, embracing roles as caregiver, decision maker, scientist, and transferor of best practices.
• Continuously participate in self-evaluation and improvement to ensure patient safety and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license
• ONS Chemotherapy Bio Certification (required)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
• OCN certification (preferred)
• Minimum MS Oncology nursing experience preferred
