This exciting ownership positions us for continued impacts and growth in the future.Essential Functions & ResponsibilitiesAs the Control Systems Engineer you will be responsible for managing, coordinating and developing all aspects of Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems and Distributive Control Systems to ensure the facility is operating in a manner that is safe to human health and the environment.Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all timesMaintains process-related systems; modifies software and hardware to improve process capabilitiesMaintains communication between DCS/PLC/TCPIP based systemsRegularly performs data analysis to better understand process capabilitiesTrains operations and maintenance personnel in relevant components of computer systemsSets up, installs and maintains PCs and related softwareCoordinates project activities with government and regulatory agenciesMaintains ability to be on-call during off hours to support systems as neededMaintains the ability to travel to other Arcwood locations up to 10%Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organizationEducationBachelor's degree in engineering, science or related field (required)Experience3+ years of experience working with PC operating systems, PLC, DCS and/or SCADA programming applications (required)Preferred experiences: Visual Basic, database programming, PC/server networking, instrumentation and industrial control system design, ABB Bailey Infi 90, Allen Bradley PLC, RCRA and MACT regulations, TCP/IP networking and NT experienceBenefits, Compensation & Workforce DiversityArcwood offers competitive pay and bonus incentives.
