Sr Manager, Global Field Operations GCN

Job Description Develop site service strategy aligning with APAC and Global GFO team business direction, drive the highest level of business service in proton business, maximize customer satisfaction and achieve all financial objectives. Perform all required management responsibilities, including implementing company policies, programs, and guidelines; ensuring employee productivity, growth, training; managing resources; and maintaining functional, technical, and market awareness necessary for organization management. Responsible and adhere to all site contractual obligations, ensuring deliverables are met and coordinating with stakeholders to fulfill requirements. Analyze operational processes, escalation procedures, and perform training needs assessments to identify opportunities for service delivery improvements and value added to customers. Maintain contact and communication with customers regarding all aspects of proton equipment, liaise with Varian/SHS to address equipment concerns, develop customer strategy, and drive implementation. Lead the team to comply with company and local safety policies. Manage the team, identify development opportunities, plan coaching for SGM and site management team. Build good connections with APAC Ops and Engineering teams to ensure all processes, procedures, scorecards are followed and implemented on site, ensuring business performance and profile. Under APAC region, develop business budget plan, manage service budget, monitor financial performance, and ensure revenue, cost, margin and payment objectives are achieved. Manage customer relations with internal departments in service and maintenance matters, ensuring the system remains clinically available within contractual timelines and customers operate VPS equipment according to technical and safety guidelines. Minimum Required Skills and Knowledge Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and 15 years of related working experience. At least 8-10 years of people management or supervisory experience. Demonstrated soft skills: interpersonal communication, listening, time management, problem-solving, leadership, and empathy. Strong ability to build and maintain successful working relationships with direct reports, peers, and colleagues. Competence and confidence to lead diverse teams and create a collaborative, customer-focused environment. Fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken); excellent communication; ability to present publicly in Chinese as needed. Comprehensive understanding of processes, technical design, and quality objectives. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Typical Education and Experience Relevant degree or equivalent experience. Years of experience and leadership as listed above. Other Desired Skills and Knowledge Experience with HCM (e.g., Workday), CRM (Salesforce), and ERP (SAP) products and productivity software. Project management experience. Strong can-do and solution-oriented focus. Knowledge and experience of medical device field service operations. Special Job Requirements Willingness to work flexible hours, including beyond standard work week hours. Expected to work onsite and occasionally coordinate system downtime events from offsite locations. Expected to travel regionally and internationally up to 50% or greater.
