- Review construction drawings, specifications, submittals, P&IDs, equipment layouts, mechanical plans, and technical documents for constructability, compliance, and field-execution readiness.
- Review mechanical scope packages to identify missing information, potential conflicts, interface concerns, or requirements requiring clarification before installation.
- Assist with drawing markups, RFIs, field clarifications, submittal reviews, design changes, and mechanical coordination items.
- Coordinate with electrical, process, structural, civil, plumbing, controls, fire protection, and other disciplines regarding system interfaces, routing, installation sequencing, and work-area requirements.
- Support verification that mechanical work is installed in accordance with approved plans, project specifications, applicable standards, and client requirements.
- Assist with reviewing field modifications, design revisions, redlines, and as-built updates to maintain accurate project documentation.
- Support the use of AutoCAD, BIM, Navisworks, or related coordination tools when required for design review, clash resolution, or field planning.

- Support budget tracking, progress reporting, quantity verification, and project-control activities as assigned.
- Assist with change-order documentation, field change tracking, and evaluation of schedule or cost impacts related to mechanical scope changes.
- Prepare project status reports, field updates, action-item logs, progress summaries, and other documentation for project leadership and client review.
- Conduct field walks and inspections to verify installation quality, completeness, workmanship, and compliance with approved mechanical drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with QA/QC personnel, Superintendents, subcontractors, and project teams regarding inspections, quality findings, deficiencies, and corrective actions.

- Support system testing, commissioning, startup, functional verification, turnover, and closeout activities for mechanical systems.
- Assist with coordinating inspections, testing requirements, documentation, and readiness reviews with project teams and applicable stakeholders.
- Help ensure mechanical systems are ready for testing, startup, commissioning, and client turnover.
- Support preparation and organization of commissioning records, test reports, inspection documentation, as-built drawings, and closeout packages.
- Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, client-site procedures, PPE requirements, and applicable construction safety standards.
- Support safe mechanical work practices by identifying hazards, reporting unsafe conditions, and coordinating with EHS personnel when necessary.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including RFIs, change orders, punch-list items, field reports, inspection records, progress updates, and as-built information.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with Superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, vendors, QA/QC personnel, engineers, and client representatives.
