Composite Estimator
Job: Composite Estimator
Company: Aerospace manufacturing — plastics & metal parts
Location: Long Beach, CA
Type: Temp-to-Hire (40 hrs/week)
Pay: $25.00–$32.00/hr (DOE)
Summary
Review customer RFQs/quotes and partner with Manufacturing, Planning, and Engineering to produce accurate estimates for composite and non-metallic work.
Key Responsibilities
Review RFQ requirements; validate ERP production capabilities
Determine make/buy decisions; confirm producibility
Estimate production costs per engineering specs
Prepare bid estimates in standard format and meet RFQ due dates
Requirements
Must meet ITAR requirement
2+ years estimating experience
Ability to interpret customer specs and drawings
Strong multitasking/prioritization ; high attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office
