Position Details

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a day shift position. This role involves 3 shifts per week, each lasting 12 hours, from 07:00 to 19:30.

Certification Requirements

• California RN License
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)

Experience Requirements

• 3+ years of RN experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Experience with neuro patients is essential

Work Schedule

The position requires weekend shifts every other week and additional weekend coverage as needed by the unit.

On-call duties may be required as needed.

Unit Details

The unit serves a diverse patient population and fosters interdisciplinary support, including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and Social Services.

Floating Requirements

RNs may be required to float to other units within their scope of practice as needed, including potential floats to different campuses. Nurses can expect a notice of approximately 1.5 hours prior to a shift start time when floating is requested. A shuttle service is provided for those who float to other campuses.

Patient Care Responsibilities

Registered Nurses in this role will manage a patient load with a typical ratio of 2 patients per RN during the day shift.

Orientation and Training

Initial orientation will last 12 hours, with additional training modules required, typically taking 1-5 hours to complete. These modules are non-billable and included in the onboarding process.
