Picking Team Lead

The Picking Team Lead is responsible for monitoring and maintaining Pick/Pack standards and getting orders out in a timely manner. The Picking Team Lead will have oversight of the Picking Associates. Key Responsibilities Include:

• Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
• Ensure execution of our customers' fulfillment and distribution requirements, monitor and maintain proper safety and security controls, and support appropriate inventory integrity controls
• Will be responsible for providing direction to hourly associates within the department ensuring the perfect order
• Must be able to delegate while motivating your team to be productive
• Provide a check and balance for accuracy of all orders both picked and packed
• Analyze productivity reports to upper management
• Assist in the development of productivity and accuracy standards and follow-up to ensure acceptable quality control standards are met
• This position acts as a team leader and advises the team, answers complex questions functioning as an expert resource, and maintains assignment completion schedules

Supervision: This position is frequently managed by the Outbound Supervisor. Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• One year in the Order-Processing Department

Skills Required:

• Willingness to learn computerized scanning device

Physical Demands This position requires standing 60% of the day, light lifting (up to 50 lbs.) for 30% of the day, and stooping for 10% of the day.
