Veterinary Technician Internal Medicine

VCA Capital Area Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Animal Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic certified veterinary technician to join our growing Internal medicine care team full time!

Internal Medicine Veterinary Technician Duties:

• Anesthesia monitoring, procedural and surgical
• Full Technician Skill Utilization
• Computed Tomography Scans (CT)
• Collecting patient histories & thorough physical exams
• Venipuncture / IVC placement
• Hands Free Radiology (Associate safety a top priority)
• Working collaboratively with team members of all hospital services
• Providing compassionate care for all patients

Potential Schedule: Full-time, Tuesday thru Friday 8am - 6pm

Compensation: $24.00 - $33.00 / hour dependent on experience, skill set, and licensure status.

Our outstanding medicine is supported by a VTS in (ECC), and a VTS in (SAIM) and we continue to support a hospital culture of growth and development for all levels of technician.
