We are seeking a creative, energetic, and results-driven Social Media Manager to lead the digital presence of all brands under the My Fun Port A umbrella.
Position Summary
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing, creating, managing, and analyzing content across all social media platforms for the My Fun Port A family of businesses. This position requires a highly organized and creative individual who can tell compelling stories through photos, videos, graphics, and written content while driving engagement, brand awareness, and bookings.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, creating content on-site, collaborating with influencers, and using analytics to improve performance. This position reports directly to the Marketing Director and Ownership Team.
Responsibilities
Content Creation & Production
- Capture high-quality photos and videos across all company locations
- Create engaging social media content including reels, stories, posts, and short-form video
- Develop content calendars and campaign schedules
- Write compelling captions and social media copy
- Coordinate and execute seasonal, promotional, and event-based content
- Attend company events and activities to document experiences in real-time
Social Media Management
- Manage daily posting across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
- Schedule and publish content according to marketing strategy
- Monitor comments, messages, reviews, and audience engagement
- Maintain brand consistency across all businesses
- Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices
Digital Asset Management
- Organize and maintain photo, video, and graphic libraries
- Ensure all digital assets are properly categorized and accessible
- Manage content archives and brand resources
- Coordinate with photographers, videographers, and creative partners as needed
Analytics & Reporting
- Track social media performance metrics and KPIs
- Analyze engagement, reach, follower growth, website traffic, and conversion data
- Prepare monthly performance reports for the Marketing Director and Ownership
- Identify opportunities to improve content performance and audience growth
- Monitor competitor activity and industry trends
Influencer & Partnership Management
- Identify and recruit influencers, content creators, and brand ambassadors
- Coordinate influencer visits, campaigns, and partnerships
- Track campaign performance and ROI
- Build relationships with tourism partners and local businesses
- Manage influencer agreements, content deliverables, and timelines
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Marketing Director on strategy and campaign execution
- Collaborate with business managers and department leaders to identify marketing opportunities
- Support special projects, events, promotions, and company initiatives
- Assist with other marketing-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required
- 2+ years of social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing experience
- Strong photography and videography skills
- Experience with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, and other social platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple brands simultaneously
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and special events when needed
Preferred
- Experience in tourism, hospitality, entertainment, or restaurant marketing
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar editing software
- Experience running paid social media campaigns
- Knowledge of Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, and social media reporting tools
- Experience working with influencers and creator partnerships
- Drone photography/videography experience is a plus
