We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Lead Mechanic to oversee maintenance operations and ensure the optimal functioning of equipment across our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, leadership qualities, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and repairs. This role is vital in maintaining safety standards, minimizing downtime, and supporting operational efficiency.
Duties
- Lead and supervise the maintenance team in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance to identify potential issues before they escalate.
- Utilize tools such as ohmmeters to test electrical components and circuits accurately.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure all equipment operates efficiently.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on proper repair techniques and safety protocols.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
- Collaborate with production managers to coordinate maintenance activities with operational schedules to minimize disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all maintenance procedures.
