Quality Assurance Lead

Location: Tempe, AZ | Remote, EST preferred Employment Type: 18+ Month W2 Contract C2C and Sponsorship: Not Available About the Role Talent Groups is seeking a Senior QA Lead to support a major data engineering and analytics initiative. This is a highly hands on role with 85 to 90 percent focused on backend data testing, including ETL and ELT testing, data validation, data quality, and reconciliation. This is not a UI focused QA role. Strong SQL and Snowflake experience are required. Responsibilities Lead QA activities for data engineering and analytics projects Develop and execute test plans for data pipelines and platforms Perform ETL and ELT testing and backend data validation Validate data transformations, business rules, and data integrity Develop source to target reconciliation for data migrations Perform data quality testing across large datasets Write SQL queries to validate data and investigate discrepancies Support test automation using Snowflake and other tools Perform root cause analysis and defect resolution Participate in Agile ceremonies and mentor junior QA resources Required Experience 7+ years of QA, data warehouse, ETL, or data quality testing experience Significant Snowflake experience Strong ETL and ELT testing experience Data migration and source to target reconciliation experience Experience validating data transformations and business rules Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills QA leadership or mentoring experience Agile and Scrum experience Preferred Experience Python and PyTest Snowflake Data Quality Monitoring and Data Metric Functions Azure DevOps and CI/CD Data quality frameworks and monitoring Talent Groups is an equal opportunity employer.
