Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Neuroscience Progressive Care)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights (3x12-Hour Shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Rotating Weekends Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed Medical Neuroscience Progressive Care unit with a primary focus on medical neurological patients
• Monitor and manage patients in coordination with a Centralized Cardiac Monitoring Department (CCMD)
• Perform and interpret CVA protocols, external CPAP/BiPAP management, TR band care, and Yale Swallowing screenings
• Participate in self-assisted scheduling through Optilink on 6-week scheduling periods
• Float to other facility campuses as needed per departmental requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Neuro PCU experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed; study materials not provided)
• EPIC EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
