This is an opportunity to join an early‑stage startup as one of the first employees and do work that directly impacts the future of how companies are built. Role As the Head of Sales at Stable, you will own and scale our sales strategy at a critical inflection point – we’re expanding from being the leading AI‑powered virtual mailbox to becoming a multi‑product AI operations platform. We have closed public companies like GitLab, DoorDash, and Hims from organic, inbound reach. We want to expand our reach even further by building the outbound engine — identifying key verticals and scaling them into a new source of growth. This is a builder role. You'll own the full sales function and set a high bar for excellence, accountability, and execution across the sales team. As Stable expands beyond mail into AI process automation and entity compliance, you'll be at the center of figuring out how to bring those products to market and win. A few of your responsibilities will include: Exceed revenue targets — You'll own the sales number, set the operating cadence, and build the forecasting and pipeline discipline to hit targets consistently Build a world‑class team — You'll recruit exceptional talent and hold a high bar for excellence. You'll stay close to deals, jumping in on high‑stakes negotiations and helping reps close what matters. Win the market with new products — You’ll work closely with product and marketing to define messaging, iterate on commercials, and provide meaningful feedback to influence what to build. This role is a great fit for someone who is energized by building a world‑class sales organization and wants their work to directly shape the trajectory of a fast‑growing company. ✅ What You’ll Do Own and execute the company’s short‑term and long‑term sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets Build, lead, and scale a high‑performing sales organization (AEs, SDRs, and future roles as needed) Establish clear goals, performance expectations, and accountability across the sales team Coach and develop sales managers and individual contributors to consistently achieve excellence Define and continuously improve the sales process from lead to close to drive consistency and predictability Own sales operations, including forecasting, pipeline management, metrics, tooling, and enablement Partner cross‑functionally with Marketing, Partnerships, Customer Success, Operations, and Product to align on go‑to‑market execution Surface customer and market insights to influence product roadmap, pricing, packaging, and GTM initiatives Support AEs in closing complex or strategic deals, including negotiations and multi‑stakeholder management Design and drive outbound strategy and execution to build a predictable pipeline Lead go‑to‑market efforts for new products, features, and pricing changes ✨ Requirements 5+ years experience in a sales and/or sales leadership role at a B2B startup Experience selling and closing software products Exposure to enterprise deals ($100K) and building outbound motions Proficiency in a full‑stack of sales and analytic tools including Hubspot, Google Sheets, Unify/Clay, Metabase, or similar Strong written and verbal communication skills Travel at least quarterly for company offsites and board meetings Hybrid working environment with in‑office (NY or Denver) expectations a few days a week #J-18808-Ljbffr
