Material Handler Night Shift

Base pay starts at $17.50 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential Night Shift starts: 6:00 pm, hours may vary depending on operations This is a position with potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Loads and unloads painted parts as needed. Paints parts as needed. Inspectspainted parts to ensure quality standards are met. May be assigned other projects or tasks by the team leader. Provide customer responsive and efficient manufacturing support activities Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damageAssist co-workers and customers Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system Maintain a clean and orderly work environment Maintaining a steady flow of materials and resources to production workstations Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment Qualifications High school diploma or GED A minimum of (1) one year of related work experience in a manufacturing environment Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle, overhead crane, yard mule and side loaders Ability to wear PPE equipment including fitted respirator. Ability to work in a non-temperature- controlled environment Experience with side forklift, bander, nail gun, overhead crane, saws, stretch wrap machine, and various pneumatic equipment preferred, not required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist Good attitude and team oriented Valid Driver's License Additional Information Site Address:7301 Fairview Street,Houston,TX 77041 This is a position with potential overtime.
