Description Northwestern Medicine is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our growing Behavioral Health team in Palos Heights, IL. This role focuses on providing high-quality outpatient psychiatric care to an adult patient population in a collaborative, team-based environment. Position Highlights Join a team of 11 established and well-respected physicians Conduct new psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits for adult patients Develop and manage treatment plans, including medication management Full-time, 36 patient-facing hours per week Monday–Friday clinic schedule Outpatient clinic at Orland Park and Inpatient privileges at NM Palos Hospital Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient centered care Support program development and expansion of advanced behavioral health treatment modalities System-wide Epic EMR Qualifications MD or DO with completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry Eligible for Illinois medical licensure Commitment to patient-centered care and collaborative practice Equal Opportunity All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
