This individual must be a self-starter and team player who takes initiative, thrives in a fast-pacedenvironment, and is excited about joining a team on a journey to accelerate transformation across Centric Brands.The Demand & Retail Planning Manager will be responsible for the short term/long term planning by style/color/account to support capacity requirements and business strategies as well as the achievement of financial objectives. This position will be the bridge between the POS data / retailer / sales and the operations department. The net result should be increased wholesale and retail sales, greater profitability and improved inventory turns both internally and for our retail customers. In addition, the Planner will ensure timely and accurate communication of weekly, monthly, and adjusted seasonal forecasts.Responsibilities for DTC & Amazon:Own and/or assist Sr. Planning Manager to develop bottoms up 12-18 month rolling forecasts at the style/color level, based on history, trends, promotional activity etc. and adjusting forecasts on a weekly basis to accommodate changes in trend for DTC and Amazon businessesOwn and/or assist Sr. Planning Manager to aggregate forecasts into comprehensive 12-month revenue and margin plans, and manage the seasonal OTB for DTC and AmazonMonitor actual performance against forecasts, making weekly and monthly adjustments to unit and key financial metrics based on sales insightsClearly communicate variances, providing supporting detailsCall out potential issues and/or risk of actual sales vs projected sales against forecast, plan, LY, etc.Key Partner with DTC cross functional partners and Amazon internal and external business leadsDevelop and distribute weekly reporting on sales performance and inventory levels(Sales, margin, AUR, units, ST%, WOS as it pertains to particular digital businesses)Conduct end-of-season reviews, analyzing seasonal sell-through against targets to identify opportunities and risks for the next seasonCollaborate with Sr. Planning Manager and the merchant and DTC team to analyze the business, maximize style performance, and identify OTB opportunities or risksDevelop effective replenishment forecast models, based on demand patterns, and partner with supply planning on maintaining required service levels, with the appropriate levels of inventory.Partner with Commercial/Sales team on promotional pricing cadence and daily sales and margin plansContinually identify business risks and opportunities and recommend actions to improve sales, margin and inventory productivityOur Best Fit Candidate Would Have5+ years experience wholesale or retail inventory management, forecasting and demand planning experience, especially as it relates to replenishment programsExperience with OTB (open-to-buy) planning, especially as it relates to DTC, E-Commerce and/or Amazon in the apparel industryHigh proficiency in handling and analyzing large datasetsDetail oriented with mindset focused on data accuracy and strong communication and organizational skillsSAP or similar ERP experience requiredKnowledge of Tillerman a plusExperience with IBP or other planning tools a plusAdvanced capabilities in ExcelComfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environmentIn return, we provide an industry-competitive salary, along with a comprehensive benefits plan (medical, dental, vision) that includes a matching 401(k), Summer Fridays, generous PTO, merchandise discounts, excellent career development opportunities, and a work environment that reflects our industry leadership. Our job postings include an annual base salary range at the time of employment. The stated base salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what candidates are likely to expect, and we tailor our offers within the range based on several factors, including the selected candidate's educational and professional experience, industry knowledge, location, technical and communication skills, and other factors that may prove relevant during the selection process.
