Job Summary Sales Associate – Clinical Sales for Surgeons (Commission). Location: Tacoma, Washington, United States. The role provides clinical and customer support in hospitals and procedures, ensures high‑quality service, sales logistics, technical expertise, and product knowledge to support sales objectives and manage surgeon and account relationships. Key Responsibilities Assist the sales organization in retaining and supporting penetration with existing customers while supporting product conversions with new customers. Help attain established sales goals including market share objectives in the prescribed territory, applying product knowledge and sales process to improve outcomes. Guide and assist surgeons in the operating room through clinical and product knowledge, presenting, demonstrating, and ensuring proper utilisation of DePuy Synthes products. Support customers by attending surgeries, ensuring proper equipment availability, optimising trays, and providing consultation to the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department. Troubleshoot and provide technical assistance, handle customer requests, manage hospital billing, and create or close purchase orders. Share key customer, procedural, and marketplace insights with sales, clinical, marketing, and strategic account teams to improve solutions and service levels, and prepare sales reports and documents as required. Maintain, track, and deploy equipment and assets throughout the assigned area to ensure product availability, keep promotional materials presentable, and meet highest quality standards for services and offerings. Focus on customer satisfaction and retention, improving customers’ insights into the tangible and intangible value proposition of DePuy Synthes, and differentiate products from competition with unique insights. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree OR Associate Degree or Medical Certification (CST, PT, etc.) with at least 2 years of professional or related experience OR At least 4 years of professional or related experience OR Recently transitioned from active military duty. Ability to work in a lab/operating room environment. Valid driver’s licence issued in the United States. Ability to travel, including weekend and/or overnight travel. Residence in or willingness to relocate to the posted territory. Strong interpersonal communication, negotiation, influencing, strategic thinking, problem‑solving, and business acumen skills. Compensation Position is 100% commission/incentive compensation and is eligible for a bi‑weekly draw.
