Reach And Cherry Picker Operator

The Reach and Cherry Picker Operator is responsible for safely operating reach trucks and cherry pickers to move, locate, and store products within the warehouse. This role ensures that all inventory is handled efficiently and accurately, contributing to the overall productivity and safety of warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate reach trucks and cherry pickers to retrieve and transport items within the warehouse.
• Load and unload products from delivery vehicles and storage locations.
• Perform regular safety checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs.
• Accurately pick orders according to specifications, ensuring the correct items and quantities are selected.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness in the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating equipment.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
• Participate in training programs to stay updated on best practices and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating reach trucks and cherry pickers preferred.
• Valid forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
• Basic computer skills for inventory management systems.

Working Conditions:

• Primarily indoors in a warehouse environment.
• May involve working in varying temperatures and noise levels.
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.

Shift: 2nd Shift Monday - Friday Pay: $19.60 Location: McDonough GA
