Senior Accountant

Location: Austin, TX
Start Date: ASAP - urgent
Pay Rate: $51/hour

Engagement Overview

Seeking a seasoned Senior Accountant to step in immediately and support a critical transition period. This individual will quickly integrate into existing accounting processes, assist with knowledge transfer, and perform senior-level accounting responsibilities with minimal oversight.

This is a fast-paced environment requiring strong technical expertise, adaptability, and the ability to execute efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Quickly integrate into and support existing accounting processes
Facilitate knowledge transfer during the transition period
Perform senior-level accounting tasks with accuracy and efficiency
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders while adhering to established controls and procedures

Required Qualifications

5-8+ years of senior-level accounting experience
Strong SAP experience ( required ) - S/4HANA preferred
Advanced Excel skills
Strong knowledge of GAAP
Ability to take direction and execute with urgency in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Background

Experience in large, complex organizations (technology or manufacturing preferred)
Public accounting experience (Big 4 or similar)
CPA (active) preferred
Background as Senior Financial Analyst or Senior Accountant
