X-Ray Technician

This is a 13-week contract position.

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

The X-Ray Technician will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures. The technician will work with patients of various ages, including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. This role requires collaboration with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective imaging practices.

Responsibilities:

• Perform X-Ray procedures efficiently and safely.
• Maintain patient comfort and confidentiality during procedures.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of imaging equipment.
• Administer contrast media as needed and follow radiation safety protocols.
• Document patient information and procedures accurately in the Epic charting system.
• Follow infection control and isolation precautions.
• Provide education to patients regarding procedures and any potential risks.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Oregon state license required.
• A minimum of 1 year of X-Ray technician experience is preferred.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred.
