MRI Technologist - Per Diem

Role Overview: MRI Technologists utilize radiofrequencies within a magnetic field to perform diagnostic, therapeutic, or research imaging procedures. They independently conduct MRI scans, prepare and administer medications as prescribed, and analyze acquired data for diagnosis. Key Responsibilities: Obtain correct patient information, ensure proper preparation, and maintain confidentiality. Apply appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and uphold patient safety following ALARA principles. Evaluate images for quality, verify data storage, and assist with magnetic resonance interventions. Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, applying safety principles to minimize risks. Select suitable pulse sequences and participate in quality improvement activities. Qualifications & Skills: Certified by ARRT (R or MR), ARMRIT, or NMTCB. Graduate of a radiologic technology program; Bachelor's preferred. Demonstrates proficiency in routine and complex duties with a commitment to organizational priorities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
