Overview Location: North Point Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Compensation: $31.00 - $33.00 / hour Responsibilities TMC is a therapy provider that brings physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to long term care providers. Patient Care Implementation: Assist in the implementation of treatment plans developed by the physical therapist to address patients\' specific rehabilitation goals and functional needs. Therapeutic Exercise and Activities: Lead patients through prescribed exercises and therapeutic activities designed to enhance their physical function and promote recovery. Instruct, monitor progress, and provide feedback to ensure safe participation. Modalities and Physical Agents: Ensure proper application of various treatment modalities, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment parameters as necessary to optimize outcomes. Patient and Family Education: Educate patients and their families on injury prevention strategies, proper body mechanics, and techniques for managing pain and discomfort. Progress Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor patients\' responses to treatment, document progress and functional status, and communicate with the supervising PT to adjust the treatment plan as needed. Qualifications Degree in an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program Current license/certification in the state of practice TMC is an equal opportunity employer.
