Fall 2026 Internship - Football Marketing

Job Overview Responsible for supporting the day‑to‑day efforts of THE TEAM's Talent Marketing department by assisting with brand partnerships, endorsement opportunities, and client marketing initiatives. This role provides administrative and project support to marketing leadership while helping coordinate client branding efforts, partnership outreach, and campaign execution. Responsibilities Research and identify brand partnership opportunities for THE TEAM's Football athletes. Conduct outreach to brands and agencies to secure complimentary products, barter partnerships, and paid endorsement deals. Build and maintain target lists of prospective brand partners and marketing contacts. Assist senior marketing leadership with organizing active partnerships, communications, and deal pipelines. Track outreach efforts, partnership opportunities, campaign requests, and client marketing activities. Create and update client marketing materials, pitch decks, athlete portfolios, and partnership presentations. Prepare reports, spreadsheets, presentations, and other marketing documents as needed. Monitor social media, industry trends, and athlete news to identify client highlights and new partnership opportunities. Support the execution of marketing campaigns, brand activations, and promotional initiatives. Coordinate with clients, agents, brands, and external partners to help ensure campaign deliverables and deadlines are met. Assist with marketing logistics for athlete appearances, interviews, charitable initiatives, and major NFL events, including the Combine, Draft, Super Bowl, and Pro Bowl. Help maintain accurate records of brand relationships, campaign performance, and partnership history. Provide day‑to‑day administrative and project support to the Marketing team while contributing to new business development initiatives. Qualifications Currently pursuing a college degree, preferably in marketing, communications, sports management, or a related field. Possess persuasiveness skills to successfully negotiate on behalf of the client’s interests. Require considerable flexibility in scheduling and willingness to work nights and weekends. Ability to prospect and research marketing partnerships on behalf of the clients. Passion for sports and business. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite a plus. Strong understanding of social/digital media. Well‑developed communication skills and ability to interact with people of all demographics. Self‑management and project management abilities. Ability to build strong, lasting relationships internally and externally. Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all situations. Exercise discretion, sound judgment, and significant initiative. Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills. Anticipate problems and manage expectations. Internship Program Details Program runs between September 9th and December 11th, 2026. Must be able to come into our Los Angeles office 2–3 times per week. Must be able to earn college credit for the internship. Time commitment expectation of 20 hours per week. Interns will gain a rewarding learning experience by interning at a large sports/entertainment company and learning the importance of business organization and management. Interns will make connections with industry leaders to gain exposure to the strategies behind digital management and marketing in sports.
