Director, Full-Stack Engineer

Salary: $30,000 - 55,000 per year Requirements:

• We are looking for a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience; an advanced degree is a plus.
• We need 12+ years of professional software development experience, including strong depth in full-stack engineering and system/application architecture.
• Experience in securities, financial services, or other engineering-led organizations is preferred.
• We expect strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, SQL, and the design of RESTful and streaming APIs.
• We value practical experience delivering cloud-native solutions, including microservices, containerization, and modern deployment approaches.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL and distributed data platforms, applied appropriately at scale, is important.
• Experience using AI-enabled capabilities, including GenAI or machine learning services, to improve developer productivity, system intelligence, or customer outcomes is required, along with a pragmatic understanding of responsible usage, scalability, and enterprise integration.

• We will rely on you to expand team impact through hands-on technical leadership, mentorship, and high engineering standards.
• You will build trust, share ownership, and improve cross-functional execution.
• You will design and deliver fit-for-purpose architectures that balance simplicity, quality, scale, and security.
• You will streamline systems and workflows by removing friction, manual toil, and unnecessary handoffs.
• You will create reusable patterns, guardrails, and tooling that accelerate delivery across teams.
• You will ramp quickly in new domains, technologies, and problem spaces as priorities change.
• You will apply strong engineering fundamentals across software design, data, testing, and distributed systems.
• You will use AI-enabled tools thoughtfully across design, coding, testing, review, and documentation while maintaining human accountability for high-risk decisions, verification, and final quality.
• You will build with a reliability-first mindset, including secure coding, observability, testing, and disciplined rollout and rollback practices.
