Mathematician - Slots

You're invited to join our client, a growing online slots studio, as a Mathematician who will shape the core math of our games. You blend probability theory, statistics, and a keen sense of player behavior to turn creative concepts into reliable, exciting products. You will define the math models that drive reel behavior, pay tables, bonuses, and progressive features, and you will document your work clearly for internal teams and regulators. You will collaborate with graphic designers, game designers, and game producers to ensure the math supports engaging visuals and gameplay. T

• Create and define math models for slot games, including reel strips, pay tables, bonus features, and progressive mechanics.
• Produce clear math documentation for internal teams and regulators, including game flowcharts and probability models.
• Design models for regulated markets across jurisdictions, adapting game mechanics as needed.
• Create engaging and commercially successful slot experiences by balancing performance metrics such as Return to Player (RTP), hit frequency, and volatility with creative gameplay features.
• Write simulation and demo code for games and run simulations to test mathematical models, verify theoretical values, and ensure expected behavior across different gameplay scenarios.
• Work closely with game designers, developers, and artists to align math models with gameplay mechanics and the creative vision.
• Analyze market and industry trends and identify opportunities for innovation.

Qualifications: 

• You have a bachelor's degree in Mathematics or Statistics with a strong understanding of statistics and probability.
• You have 5+ years in the iGaming industry.
• You have experience developing math models from scratch.
• You can communicate complex math clearly to non-specialists and document work for regulators.
