Senior Electronics Assembly Technician (Circuit Board Soldering & Electrical/Electromechanical Assembly)

Onsite in Huntsville, Alabama

Pay Estimate: $35-$44/Hour | First Shift | 12-Month Contract

We are hiring 10 Senior Electronics Assembly Technicians to support hands-on electronics production at Boeing’s Huntsville facility. The technicians will work at individual workstations assembling and soldering circuit boards while supporting inspection, rework, repair, equipment maintenance, material handling, and production coordination activities.

This position is well suited for an experienced electronics assembler who can read technical drawings and work instructions, perform detailed soldering and assembly work, and complete assignments with minimal supervision.

Available Work Schedules:

• Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Friday through Sunday from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM
• Overtime is not currently expected

Responsibilities:

• Perform complex production assembly operations on electronic, electrical, and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies
• Build and solder circuit boards according to approved drawings, work instructions, and production requirements
• Inspect completed assemblies and subassemblies for workmanship and compliance with applicable requirements
• Perform complex rework, repair, and modification of parts and assemblies
• Operate production machines and complete complex machine setup activities using established inspection checklists
• Perform periodic maintenance on production machines, tools, and equipment
• Document inspection results and update production and work-status records
• Assemble and deliver production kits
• Perform receiving and basic inspections of incoming materials
• Present production or statistical data to the team for analysis and issue resolution
• Attend Tier meetings and communicate production status, priorities, and concerns
• Coordinate workflow and resolve production issues with management and other departments
• Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining production, quality, and safety requirements

Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
• High school diploma or GED with 7+ years of related experience (Or Vocational school/Associate degree with 5+ years of related experience, Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of related experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Hands-on experience soldering circuit boards
• Basic computer proficiency
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions
• Experience performing electronic, electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical assembly work
• Ability to work onsite at Boeing’s Huntsville facility
• Ability to perform work requiring bending, walking, and standing
• Ability to work one of the listed production schedules

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced circuit board soldering and electronic assembly experience
• Experience performing complex rework, repair, or modification of electronic assemblies
• Experience inspecting electronic or electromechanical parts and documenting inspection results
• Experience setting up or maintaining production machines, tools, or equipment
• Experience coordinating production workflow, material kits, and work priorities
