Pharmacy Delivery Driver / Clerk – Part Time

Quality Care Pharmacy is looking for a dependable, friendly, and motivated individual to join our team as a  Part-Time Pharmacy Delivery Driver / Clerk . This position has the  potential to grow into a full-time role for the right person.

We are an independent community pharmacy that takes pride in providing exceptional, personalized service to our patients. We are looking for someone who is reliable, professional, and comfortable interacting with customers both in the pharmacy and while making deliveries.

Position Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this position is completing our  daily pharmacy deliveries to patients in a safe, timely, and professional manner. When not making deliveries, this team member will assist with front-end operations inside the pharmacy.

Responsibilities include:

• Complete daily prescription and pharmacy-related deliveries
• Provide friendly, professional service when interacting with patients at their homes or businesses
• Follow assigned delivery routes and pharmacy procedures
• Handle prescription deliveries responsibly and maintain patient confidentiality
• Collect payments or obtain required signatures when applicable
• Assist customers at the front-end register when not making deliveries
• Process retail transactions accurately
• Help keep the front-end area clean, organized, and stocked
• Assist with basic customer service and other pharmacy support tasks as needed
• Communicate effectively with pharmacists, technicians, and other team members

Schedule

This is a  Monday through Friday position . The position will begin as  part time , with the possibility of becoming  full time based on pharmacy needs and employee performance.

No weekend shifts are required.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will:

• Have a valid driver's license and a safe driving record
• Be dependable and punctual
• Have reliable transportation
• Be comfortable driving throughout the local area
• Have excellent customer service and communication skills
• Be friendly, professional, and respectful when interacting with patients
• Be able to work independently while making deliveries
• Be comfortable operating a cash register and handling payments
• Have strong attention to detail
• Be trustworthy and able to maintain patient confidentiality
• Be willing to help wherever needed as part of a small pharmacy team

Previous pharmacy, retail, delivery, or customer service experience is helpful but  not required . We are willing to train the right person.
