We value the unique skills, experiences, and perspectives every team member brings to the organization, and we are focused on ensuring our team members thrive both professionally and personally.We currently have a career opportunity for a caring, purpose-driven Orthodontic Dental Assistant who will take great pride in creating truly extraordinary patient experiences while delivering the highest quality dental care.The Orthodontic Assistant's primary focus is to perform different orthodontic procedures with the doctor which includes prepping the patients, assisting the Orthodontist, and closing all chairside procedures, all while creating a comfortable environment for the patient. The Orthodontic Assistant will be responsible for knowing our policies and procedures to provide patients and families with orthodontic care instructions and dental health education.Prepare patients for procedures, assist Orthodontist during procedures and finish patient's appointment.Be prepared for each procedure by reviewing patient notes to know what procedures will be done and what instruments will be needed.Provide patient and families with proper orthodontic care instructions, dental health education and diet recommendations.Help patient and parent feel comfortable at each visit.Communicate patient's treatment needs to appropriate clinic staff.Take or order panorex x-rays for patient treatment.Position Details:Pay Range $19 - $26, based on experienceFull-Time, Monday - FridayComplete Benefit PackageNO evenings, NO weekends, NO holidaysMulti Location Practice: Eau Claire, Chippewa Falls, Rice Lake, Black River Falls, Bloomer and StanleyAbility to travel to all locations requiredBenefits:Competitive pay + growth opportunitiesMedical, Dental, Vision, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability and Life insuranceFSA and HSA401K with company contributionsPaid time off + paid holidaysFree or discounted dental service and orthodontic treatmentPosition Requirements:Strong communication and customer service skillsSomeone who likes to work with patients of all agesAttention to detail and ability to multitaskOrganization and time management skillsWorks well independently and in a team environmentPrevious dental experience would be helpful, but a great attitude and a strong work ethic are our first priorities.
