Job Summary and Qualifications

HCA's Air Care Eagle (ACE) air medical transport system has served the region and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Response area includes the majority of Virginia, eastern North Carolina and surrounding areas. HCA ACE provide rapid access to definitive services for adult and pediatric populations - including acutely ill and injured cardiac, neuro, trauma, pediatric and medical patient populations. Aircraft is equipped with state-of-the-art patient monitoring, ventilator, video laryngoscope and other technology to support care of critical patients during transport.

What qualifications you will need:

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
• PALS Pediatric Adv Life Supt must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Paramedic
• Vocational School Graduate
• Achieve and maintain Flight Paramedic Certification within 2 years of hire
