Nuclear Medicine Technician

Acute Nuclear Medicine TechnicianWe're seeking a detail-oriented, compassionate Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team in Brownwood, TX. In this full-time position, you will play a vital role in patient care by performing nuclear medicine procedures, preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals, and producing high-quality diagnostic images for physician review.Key Responsibilities:Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety protocolsOperate nuclear imaging equipment (gamma cameras, PET/CT, etc.)Perform a range of diagnostic procedures including cardiac, bone, thyroid, and other organ scansEnsure proper documentation and patient record-keepingMonitor equipment function and maintain cleanliness and sterilityEducate and support patients throughout the diagnostic processCollaborate with physicians and healthcare staff for optimal patient careQualifications:Completion of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology programCurrent certification or eligibility through ARRT (N) and/or NMTCBActive BLS certificationKnowledge of radiation safety and handling of radiopharmaceuticalsStrong communication and technical skillsPrevious experience preferred, but new graduates will be consideredWhat We Offer:Competitive salary, commensurate with experience and certificationsHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off, holidays, and flexible schedulingOngoing education and certification supportA collaborative and supportive work environmentAbout Brownwood, TexasLocated in Central Texas, Brownwood is a historic town known for its small-town charm, community values, and relaxed lifestyle.
