Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Independently read and interpret telemetry findings
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver safe, high-quality emergency care
• Float to other units as needed per facility policy

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (any state) or valid compact RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Current PALS certification required
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry
• EPIC charting experience required
• Permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the designated central facility location

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification strongly preferred
• Experience in a high-volume or acute care emergency department setting
