About the Position

Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment License: Required licensure in the respective state Certifications: C-EFM through NCC ACLS BLS NRP STABLE Must-Have: NRP, STABLE, and C-EFM through NCC required at submission Experience in high-risk Labor and Delivery is essential Call required: 36 hours in 6 weeks or 12 hours per pay period Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery. Experience with high-risk labor and delivery patients is mandatory. Candidates must be proficient in circulating, fetal heart monitoring, and triage. Preceptorship or charge experience is preferred. Weekend and holiday coverage is required. The role may involve floating to similar units within the skill set. The nurse must respond to call within 45 minutes of notification. Daily responsibilities include assisting with high-risk deliveries and evaluating obstetrical patients. Candidates will provide care for neonates and adults. Compliance with all facility protocols and requirements is expected.
