Responsibilities: Serves as patient facing support for the Patient Access Department within Piedmont Healthcare. Ensures patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographic/clinical data. Calculates patient financial responsibility, presents patient financial options/requirements and processes patient payments. Secures patient consent and acknowledgement on required forms/notices. Qualifications: H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required Work Experience: 1 year exp in one of the following: Required Healthcare Revenue Cycle Required or Clinical role Required or Related clerical accounting/finance/retail Required or 3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience Preferred Prior Epic experience Preferred Licenses and Certifications: None Required Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association Preferred or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative Preferred Business Unit: Company Name: Piedmont Healthcare Corporate
