Full Time Driver Associate Position

This is a Full-Time Driver position with Alston Transportation LLC (the “Company”) delivering packages for a national technology company! You will start and end your day at a Warehouse. Delivery Driver Responsibilities: Load and unload delivery vehicles with packages to be delivered Follow GPS coordinated routeand all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle Deliver products to customers in a professional and courteous manner Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions and on various routes; lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs. on a frequent basis; get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed Use smart phone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes Report any issues or problems to management immediately Company Description Alston Transportation LLC is a locally owned and operated logistics company dedicated to providing exceptional delivery service to our community. Qualifications As a Delivery Driver, You’ll Need: Must be authorized to work in the United States Valid driver's license and clean driving record Must be at least 23 years old Must successfully pass a background check Must successfully pass a 5-Panel Drug Screening (which doesinclude pre-employment testing for marijuana) Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position) Ability to lift and carrypackages up to 50 Pounds Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
