Sam's Club #6421 2000 Westview Blvd Conroe, TX 77304-3561 $17.00 - $25.00/hr* Full time Shifts may vary Position Summary As a Cook, your primary role is to prepare food in a timely and safe manner while ensuring high quality and hygiene standards. You will work as a Team Member, Expert, Techie, Owner, and Talent Ambassador to support Sam’s Club members and store operations. What you'll do Be a Team Member : Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources. Be an Expert : Prepare food according to item specifications, plan for future productions, adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, inventory management, and operate and sanitize equipment. Be a Techie : Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology for production, ordering, training, and product quality decisions. Be an Owner : Drive area performance; stock and rotate merchandise, ensure quality and date‑control standards, eliminate waste, and provide member service by acknowledging members and resolving issues. Be a Talent Ambassador : Advocate for the brand; inspire and support others in a respectful, team‑oriented culture and assist training. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards, using the Open Door Policy. Complete work assignments efficiently, collaborate with managers and other partners, prioritize tasks, communicate progress, and recommend improvement opportunities. Minimum Qualifications Age 18 years or older. Ability to successfully complete all required trainings and assessments within prescribed time periods.
