This position is full-time with a large amount of time spent outdoors.Essential FunctionsAssist with the safe and efficient moving of boats at the dealership/storage yardSpring boat prep: Unwrapping shrink wrap, cleaning, waxing, detailing, bottom paintingFall boat prep: Shrink wrapping, bottom scraping, bottom painting & power washingPerform general maintenance and cleaning of vessels and the boat yardSupport technicians and other team members with various tasksOperate yard equipment safely and efficientlyMaintain a clean and organized work environmentDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.Required QualificationsPass a background check and drug screenStrong work ethic and willingness to learnBe at least 18 years of ageAbility to regularly complete the physical demands of the role including bending, kneeling, balancing and carrying equipment up to 25 poundsAbility to adhere to all safety policiesPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience in a marine or similar environment is a plus, but not requiredTeam player with good communication skillsWorking ConditionsWork outdoors and in various weather conditions for an extended period of timeWork in a service center setting around machineryThe anticipated pay for this position is $18 - $22 hourly.
