Investment Banking Finance Business Manager - Vice President

You’ll bring structure to complex agendas, connect stakeholders across functions, and create a great experience for our analyst community.As a Vice President, Business Manager in Finance & Business Management (F&BM) and Controls, you will provide strategic and day-to-day business management support with primary coverage of Payments F&BM. You will lead the Analyst Program agenda and partner with stakeholders across finance, controls, HR, and business teams to strengthen operating rhythms, improve execution, and help maintain a strong control environment.Job ResponsibilitiesPartner with senior leaders to shape priorities, operating rhythms, and cross-team executionOwn primary business management coverage for Payments F&BM, including key deliverables and stakeholder coordinationLead the Analyst Program strategy, calendar, communications, and development prioritiesCreate executive-ready materials for business reviews, leadership forums, and management updatesCoordinate leadership meetings, including agendas, pre-reads, action tracking, and follow-throughDrive process simplification and continuous improvement across the broader organizationManage budget, expenses, headcount tracking, and reporting in partnership with functional teamsCoordinate recruiting, onboarding, mobility, and people agenda activities with HR and business partnersEvaluate and enhance team processes, systems, and operating infrastructure to improve scalabilityProvide flexible coverage across F&BM and Controls teams as priorities and capacity shiftSupport a sound control environment by partnering on risk management and control prioritiesRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsProven leadership and execution in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with multiple senior stakeholdersStrong judgment and ownership, with the ability to prioritize and deliver across competing demandsExcellent communication skills (written and verbal), including preparing clear executive-level materialsStrong relationship-building skills across business, finance, controls, HR, and partner teamsHighly organized and detail-oriented, with consistent follow-through on complex deliverablesStrong proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPointDemonstrated discretion and integrity when handling sensitive informationPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsExperience in finance, business management, controls, or a closely related functionExperience supporting senior leadership routines, business reviews, and cross-functional prioritiesDemonstrated ability to simplify complex topics and turn ambiguity into clear plansExperience leading programs (e.g., analyst development, talent initiatives, or people agendas)Track record of process improvement, project management, or operating model enhancementKnowledge of Payments and the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) environmentFamiliarity with risk and control frameworks and related governance routines**To be eligible for this role, you must be authorized to work in the United States.
