Distillation Operator

Responsibilities

• System & Process Control: * Operate all plant systems from the centralized control station according to established operating manuals and safety standards.
  • Continuously monitor and adjust distillation columns, molecular sieves, and evaporators to optimize production.

  • Oversee critical auxiliary and utility systems, including cooling towers, industrial boilers, and air compressors.

• Quality Control & Environmental Compliance:
  • Perform routine laboratory tests on production samples to ensure final products meet strict quality standards.

  • Sample and analyze wastewater to ensure the plant strictly adheres to environmental permit limits.

  • Promptly identify and report operational issues or deviations to management when they exceed standard control limits.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 50lbs
• standing for 12 hours at one time
