ProHealth Care - Staff Radiation Therapist - Pewaukee Location: Pewaukee Job Type: Days - 1st Shift Weekly Hours: 36 Staff Radiation Therapist - PRN (As Needed) Locations: Pewaukee, Oconomowoc, and Mukwonago Schedule: Day shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (as needed). No weekends. Our Radiation Oncology team combines advanced technology with a collaborative, patient‑centered approach to provide exceptional cancer care across Waukesha County. We are currently seeking a PRN Staff Radiation Therapist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to deliver state‑of‑the‑art radiation treatments in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment. What You Will Do As a Staff Radiation Therapist, you will deliver safe and accurate radiation treatments as prescribed by our physicians, while providing patients with education, reassurance, and compassionate care. You will work closely with a collaborative team of Radiation Oncologists, RNs, therapists, and support staff committed to excellence in oncology care. The department uses advanced treatment technology, including TrueBeam, VitalBeam, and IX machines, with all plans reviewed by physics to ensure quality and safety. On average, therapists see 24 to 32 patients per day, with treatments scheduled at approximately 15‑minute intervals. Specific duties include: Localizing tumors Participating in treatment planning Delivering high doses of ionizing radiation under the supervision of a Radiation Oncologist Acting as a primary caregiver and liaison with other health care providers You Will Need Bachelor’s Degree in Radiation Therapy, Radiography, or a related field. Candidates with an Associate’s Degree and equivalent experience will be considered. If holding a Bachelor’s Degree, ARRT registration is required. If holding an Associate’s Degree, a WI Radiologic Tech license and Radiation Therapy Certification are required. Applicants must be able to work at multiple sites with flexibility in scheduling as needed. Experience with Varian Varian or VitalBeam technology is required; prior experience with Aria EMR is highly desirable.
