Entry level - Biochemist - Protein Conjugation Full-time
- General knowledge of biochemistry, protein chemistry, or related disciplines.
- Hands-on experience with basic bioconjugation reactions (e.g., maleimide/thiol) and purification techniques.
- Familiarity with routine laboratory instruments and applicable software.
- Effective oral and written communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to follow established policies and procedures.
- Strong organizational and planning skills to ensure timely delivery.
- Ability to maintain neat, accurate, and complete batch records.
- Capable of training others effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in a biological science discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in protein conjugation.
- Ability to perform conjugation processes accurately and independently, with a solid understanding of techniques and background.
- Must learn and execute standard and custom protein conjugation methods independently.
- Will collaborate with application testing scientists and dye chemists to evaluate conjugate performance.
- Technical skills include operation of pipettes, spectrophotometers, fluorimeters, pumps, fraction collectors, water baths, and chromatography systems (FPLC, ion exchange, SEC) and ultrafiltration.
