Position Summary:

Dishwashers will wash dishes and utensils and ensure the kitchen is clean and well-stocked while following safety and quality standards. Duties include dishwashing, maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen, and adhering to health and safety regulations.

This role requires solid communication skills, the ability to multi-task, effective time management, adaptability, initiative, self-awareness, resiliency, sound judgment, and integrity.

Location: 740 East 7th Street, Saint Paul, MN 55106

Schedule: 3 - 4 days (20 - 24 hours) per week including weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Food Service: Commercial kitchen dishwashing and/or food industry experience
• Multilingual: Communicates in more than one language

Physical and Working Requirements:

The position involves frequent stationary tasks, along with regular movement within the kitchen and storage areas. Frequent positioning is required to access both low and high shelving, equipment, and products. The job also entails the frequent movement of containers weighing up to 50 lbs. Dishwashers constantly prepare and handle items and may occasionally ascend/descend a ladder to reach high shelving. Dishwashers will utilize various equipment including but not limited to knives and mixers. This role requires exchanging accurate information in person. Additionally, Dishwashers will occasionally work in a walk-in cooler and be exposed to sanitizer, cleaning products, and loud noises.
