Registered Nurse (RN) GI GU Surgical Unit Bring your passion to Texas Health where we are Better+Together Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76104 Work hours: Full Time, (3) 12 hour shifts 6:45p-7:15a - Rotating Weekends/Holidays; Team members may be placed on call for regularly scheduled shifts in response to census fluctuations. Department highlights: Self-Scheduling that helps with work/life balance as well as opportunities for educational and career growth Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team The unit will initially open with 20 beds, with plans to expand to the full 36 beds later in the year. The General Surgical Nurse provides care to a wide variety of post op patients including: complex gastro-intestinal, urology and colorectal surgeries with an average length of stay of approximately five days.
