Job Description

We are seeking an individual to join our team as a Sandwich Maker. This individual will be responsible for preparing made-to-order sandwiches, brewing and serving coffee and other beverages, and providing excellent customer service. The role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Location

In-person in Las Vegas, NV, 89109: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).

Responsibilities

• Take and place order, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in the work area as applicable.
• Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests.
• Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments.
• Follows standardized recipes to ensure accuracy with food orders.
• Manage high-volume orders efficiently.
• Assists customers in the selection and purchase of specialty coffee beverages and adhering to coffee recipes.
• Maintains customer service area and equipment cleanly and appealingly.
• Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures.
• Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment.
• Unload delivery orders and stock the orders to the designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in workstations, counters, tables, etc.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.

Skills / Experience

• Knowledge of safety, sanitation, and accident prevention principles.
• Must be able to multitask well and work well under pressure.
• Nevada Health Card required.
• Knowledge of standard kitchen equipment, including, but not limited to, toasters, refrigerators and coolers, slicers, and beverage machines.
• Basic computer skills and experience with varied Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Knowledge of standard kitchen equipment, including, but not limited to, toasters, refrigerators and coolers, slicers, and beverage machines.
• 1 year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
• 1 year of experience of guest service experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and walk swiftly for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to bend to obtain items near the floor and carry service trays overhead.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
