Job Summary:We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class A Driver to support our excavation and site development operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting equipment, materials, and aggregates to and from job sites while assisting with general labor tasks as needed.Key Responsibilities:Operate CDL Class A vehicles (dump trucks, lowboys, tandems, etc.) safely and efficientlyTransport heavy equipment (excavators, skid steers, dozers) to job sitesLoad and unload materials such as dirt, gravel, sand, and debrisPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipmentEnsure compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policiesMaintain accurate delivery logs and paperworkAssist with excavation/site work when not driving (grading, trenching support, cleanup, etc.)Communicate effectively with dispatch, foremen, and crew membersRequirements:Valid CDL Class A license (required)Clean driving recordMinimum [X] years of experience operating CDL vehicles (construction/excavation preferred)Experience hauling heavy equipment (preferred)Ability to operate or willingness to learn excavation equipmentStrong understanding of safety procedures and DOT regulationsAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditionsPreferred Qualifications:Experience in excavation, grading, or underground utilitiesKnowledge of load securement for heavy equipmentOSHA certification (or willingness to obtain)Mechanical knowledge of trucks and equipmentBenefits:Competitive pay + overtimeHealth, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plan (401k, if applicable)Paid time off and holidaysOpportunities for advancementWork Environment:Outdoor job sites in varying weather conditionsPhysical labor required in addition to driving dutiesEarly start times and occasional extended hours.
