As a Showing Assistant, you will be instrumental in elevating the client journey by managing and conducting property showings, facilitating clear communication between clients and agents, and playing a key role in driving our team’s continued success. Position Overview The Licensed Showing Assistant is a licensed real estate professional who supports Shannon McCarthy by conducting and scheduling property showings, attending inspections, and facilitating final walkthroughs. This person will also provide Listing and Open House support for the sellers we represent.This is a field-focused role centered on execution and delivering a high-level client experience. The Showing Assistant represents the Shannon McCarthy Team in the field and is expected to uphold the team’s standards of professionalism, responsiveness, and customer care at every appointment. The role requires flexibility, including availability on evenings and weekends, when our clients need us most. Key Responsibilities Onboarding Clients Participate in the initial buyer consultation to understand the buyers’ specific needs. Update our CRM with client information. Enter saved searches for email notifications. Write offers. Process contracts. Showings & Buyer Support Conduct buyer showings on behalf of Shannon McCarthy. Answer general property questions during showings and ensure buyers feel supported and informed. Attend home inspections as needed. Coordinate obtaining quotes with vendors. Facilitate final walkthroughs prior to closing. Listing & Open House Support Assist with property readiness, including scheduling and attending vendor appointments. Coordinate staging, cleaning and photography. Host open houses, providing pre-event preparation, on-site support, and post-event follow-up. Communication, Compliance & Team Standards Provide timely, detailed feedback to the lead agent after showings, inspections, and open houses. Log showing activity in the CRM. Maintain compliance with brokerage, MLS, and New York State guidelines. Participate in weekly script practice and team activities per team standards. Qualifications Must be based in the Saratoga Springs area. Professional presentation and strong interpersonal skills. Punctual, dependable, and able to manage evening and weekend appointments. Detail-oriented and organized. Proactive and highly responsive. Able to analyze clients’ needs and match them to the right homes. Ambitious and self-motivated, with a proven ability to succeed with a strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute to a team. Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
