HVAC Sheet Metal Estimator

Job Description Job Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Sheet Metal Project Estimator to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for HVAC sheet metal fabrication and installation projects. Responsibilities: * Prepare accurate and complete HVAC sheet metal estimates for fabrication and installation projects * Perform quantity takeoffs for sheet metal, equipment, and accessories * Review project specifications, drawings, and contract documents * Determine project scope of work and required estimate components * Develop detailed labor and material cost estimates * Prepare and manage change orders based on revised mechanical/shop drawings * Maintain organized files of all working documents, including pricing from suppliers and cost data * Collaborate effectively with internal teams and vendors Qualifications: * Minimum 2-5 + years of sheet metal estimating experience preferred * Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and sheet metal fabrication * Proven ability to prepare accurate and complete estimates * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines * Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Strong negotiation and leadership abilities * Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
