AI Program Manager

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an AI Release Manager to work onsite at one of our premier clients in Spring, Texas (North Houston). This person will be responsible for defining/understanding the AI solution/process, structure it, align with development team, and track to completion. They will provide updates up to management up to the executive level.

Solution delivery: Identify who the stakeholders are, what is the status of the solutions, making sure those are moving smoothly; keeping stakeholders updated, communicate any changes to solution to the development team and stakeholders.

Executive Presence & Communication (Highest Priority):

Exceptional executive communication and presentation skills.

Able to confidently present project status, risks, trade-offs, and recommendations to Directors, VPs, and executive leadership.

Strong storytelling ability with clear, concise executive updates.

Naturally influential and able to build consensus across organizations.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Leadership:

Proven ability to influence without authority.

Experience coordinating AI/ML teams, software engineering, product management, architecture, quality, and business organizations.

Comfortable working with highly technical teams while translating technical concepts into business language.

Demonstrated ability to align multiple organizations with competing priorities.

Technical Program Management:

Experience managing multiple concurrent enterprise software or AI initiatives.

Strong understanding of Agile delivery, release management, dependency management, RAID logs, executive dashboards, and portfolio planning.

Experience managing programs from ideation through production deployment and post-production adoption.

AI & Emerging Technologies:

Experience delivering AI, GenAI, Machine Learning, LLM, Copilot, Agentic AI, or automation initiatives.

Comfortable discussing AI concepts with AI Scientists and Architects.

Familiarity with RAG, APIs, cloud platforms, vector databases, or MLOps is highly desirable (hands-on coding not required).

Change Management & Business Adoption:

Proven success driving organizational change and business adoption.

Experience conducting UAT, user enablement, training, rollout planning, and adoption measurement.

Strong customer-first mindset.

This role will be on-site in Spring, Texas, with a typical working schedule of Monday-Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm CST (1 hour lunch). Excludes holidays and weekends.

Compensation: $43.00-53.00/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including, but not limited to skills, experience, and education. Employees in this role will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package starting on day one of employment, including options for medical, dental, and vision insurance. Eligibility to enroll in the 401(k) retirement plan begins after 90 days of employment. Additionally, employees in this role will have access to paid sick leave as required by the applicable law of the worksite location.

Skills and Requirements

Strong PM skills: organization, communication and follow-up - typically 4+ years of experience as a PM

Previous experience as a AI Program Manager, Technical Program Manager, AI Delivery Lead, etc. (see nice to have section).

Experience with PM tools, like MS Project and Azure Dev-Ops (ADO), to manage multiple projects at once.

Experience using AI tools such as Co-Pilot, Claude, Gemini, etc. and how users interact with them

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders Ability to train users/help with adoption of agents
