PCU/IMC/Stepdown RN in Atlanta, Georgia

This 13-week travel contract in Atlanta is designed for an experienced cardiac nurse ready to care for high-acuity patients on a cardiac-focused progressive care unit during 12-hour night shifts. You will manage telemetry patients with conditions such as heart failure, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, chest pain, and fluid volume overload while administering cardiac drips including amiodarone, heparin, milrinone, dobutamine, nitroglycerin, insulin, and Lasix. The assignment includes frequent admissions and discharges, significant procedural volume, chest tube management, catheterization recovery, sheath removal, cardioversion, ablation, pacemaker, ICD, and STEMI/NSTEMI care. EPIC experience, recent cardiac unit experience, independent rhythm interpretation, and successful completion of a dysrhythmia exam are required. Experience with heart transplant and LVAD patients is preferred, with training available if needed.
